With four months to go until the global agricultural community heads to Bologna, Italy, for the AGRAYA SUMMIT 2026 (27–29 October), the preparations are picking up pace. This month, we are announcing the preliminary agenda and the all-new Solution Hub concept.
Where ideas grow and systems change: Agenda published
Following pre-SUMMIT meetings on 26 October with a range of core stakeholder groups including the GLOBALG.A.P. Technical Advisory Committee, GLOBALG.A.P. national technical working groups, and an in-person Certification Body Scheme Manager Update Training, day one will begin on 27 October under the theme “Where ideas grow”.
Keynotes and panel discussions will span areas such as harnessing the power of cross-sector collaboration and bridging the gap from solution adoption to system transformation.
Attendees will then have the opportunity to choose between several parallel breakout sessions under the Agraya focus areas, including:
- Advancing farmer empowerment and agency
How global policy decisions shape local agriculture, the on-farm applications of research and capacity-building initiatives, and inclusion as catalyst for sector change
- Scaling agricultural regeneration
Connecting solutions to advance responsible farming, turning environmental goals into measurable impact, and the consequences for food safety approaches in scalable regeneration
- Promoting inclusive technology and innovation
Opportunities, risks, and realities of AI in the future of food systems, technologies and tools to drive farm-level adaptation in a changing climate, and innovations that are shaping the aquaculture sector
Day two will follow under the theme “Where systems change”, with highlight keynotes and panel discussions covering topics such as tech-enabled auditing and the future of assurance, and the harmonization of sustainability claims from fragmented frameworks to closer alignment on ESG reporting.
The breakout sessions will then continue through the lens of the focus areas, including:
- Driving equitable value chains
Inclusive sourcing models as a vehicle for change in emerging markets, sharing the true environmental and social costs of production, and crafting partnership-first supply contracts
- Enabling collaborative governance and systemic change
Evaluating the influence and potential of farmer-led advocacy on regulations, markets, and trade practices, and examining the role of policy as a lever for systemic change

The Changemaker Awards presentation will also take place on day two, followed immediately by a panel discussion featuring the winners of each category: Innovation, Sustainability, and Community Impact.
Please note that the agenda is evolving and we are regularly updating the agenda webpage to reflect the latest updates. We will also announce more information on the farm visit program (29 October) very soon!
Join the conversation in Bologna
Connect with our experts at the Solution Hub
At the SUMMIT 2026, we will be introducing the Solution Hub for the first time.
The Solution Hub is a central interactive space where attendees can engage directly with Agraya technical experts to gain a deeper understanding of GLOBALG.A.P. solutions, the GGN label, and how our capacity-building activities support those entering or diving deeper into the world of assurance and certification.
Designed in response to feedback from attendees at the 2024 SUMMIT and structured around the key impact areas of GLOBALG.A.P. standards, the Solution Hub is a dedicated space for clear, practical information and guidance on some of the most critical topics facing global value chains:
- Food safety
- Environmental sustainability
- Social responsibility
- Supply chain transparency
- Reporting and metrics
- Capacity-building
A dedicated station will also cover introductions to the GLOBALG.A.P. certification system, the certification process, combining solutions, B2C communication through the GGN label, and more.

We are delighted to be joined at the SUMMIT 2026 by Anna Gumbau – MC and founder of She Owns the Stage – who will guide the conversations as moderator.
Anna is an international moderator, strategic communications expert, and journalist in the European climate and energy landscape. With over 200 high-level events under her belt, from EU policy debates to global sustainability initiatives, Anna is a trusted host for discussions that matter.
Through the She Owns the Stage platform, Anna is empowering women to speak up, stand out, and shape the narrative – themes we look forward to exploring more in alignment with the UN International Year of the Woman Farmer.
