From 21-23 April 2026, more than 30,000 aquaculture professionals gathered in Barcelona for the 32nd edition of Seafood Expo Global, the world’s largest seafood trade event.

Agraya (incorporating the GLOBALG.A.P. and GGN label brands) was proud to join industry leaders, innovators, and partners from across the aquaculture value chain.

Across three vibrant days, visitors stopped by the Agraya booth to explore the full aquaculture offering, from GLOBALG.A.P. standards to the GGN label – the consumer label for certified, responsible farming. Our experts were on hand to discuss certification processes, market trends, and how robust standards help build a more responsible and resilient aquaculture sector.

Wouter Conradie, Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of Agraya, said:

“Seafood Expo Global 2026 highlighted the rapid growth and commercial relevance of aquaculture and aquaculture feed. Meeting partners face‑to‑face allows us to exchange ideas, understand emerging needs, and work together toward a more responsible and resilient aquaculture sector.”

Valeska Weymann, Senior Technical Expert, added:

I was delighted to see the recognition at the fair, not only of GLOBALG.A.P. certified seafood products, but also GGN labeled products in the market. Due to our full coverage of the supply chain, we had the opportunity to dialogue with current and potential stakeholders from hatcheries, farms, processors and aquafeed manufacturers.”

Looking ahead

A warm thank‑you to everyone who visited the Agraya booth. The conversations and connections made at Seafood Expo Global 2026 reaffirm the industry’s shared commitment to responsible aquaculture.

As discussions continue beyond Barcelona, Agraya looks forward to supporting partners worldwide in their sustainability efforts, and to welcoming stakeholders at the AGRAYA SUMMIT 2026 in Bologna, Italy, this October
