From 30 September to 2 October, Madrid once again hosted Fruit Attraction, one of the most influential events in the global fruit and vegetable sector. The 2025 edition brought together more than 2,460 exhibitors and 120,000 professionals from 150 countries, confirming its role as a major hub for collaboration, innovation, and trade.

For Agraya, this year’s event marked an important milestone: it was our first trade fair appearance as the new corporate umbrella behind GLOBALG.A.P. and the GGN label. The response was overwhelmingly positive, with visitors including producers, certification bodies, and global agricultural companies showing strong interest in Agraya’s vision and initiatives.

Our booth at Fruit Attraction 2025 was well frequented, hosting discussions about the future of farming and the shared challenged and opportunities shaping the industry. Stakeholders highlighted topics such as how to ensure producers have access to the right information at the right time, how AI tools can best support the agricultural sector, and how processes can be streamlined to improve efficiency across the value chain. These conversations provided valuable input to better understand industry priorities and how we can collaborate with partners to build a more connected and future-ready agricultural ecosystem.

Building momentum for the future

Visitors were also eager to learn more about the upcoming AGRAYA SUMMIT 2026 in Bologna, both in terms of sponsorship opportunities and participation as conference delegates. The sense of shared purpose and momentum that emerged at Fruit Attraction will continue at the SUMMIT, a meeting point designed to bring the industry together and foster dialogue on the future of farming.

Speaking about our participation at the event, Angelo Lazo, Lead Business Development at Agraya, said:

“It was inspiring to see the level of engagement and curiosity around Agraya’s vision. The conversations we had reinforced how essential collaboration is to addressing the evolving challenges of our sector.”

The 2025 edition of Fruit Attraction also highlighted the event’s economic importance. The fair generated an estimated €407 million in economic impact for Madrid, supporting over 3,000 jobs in the region. These figures underline Fruit Attraction’s growing influence as a catalyst for agricultural innovation and economic development.

As Agraya, GLOBALG.A.P., and the GGN label continue to grow, our focus remains on strengthening connections across the global agricultural ecosystem, enabling collaboration, fostering innovation, and supporting producers as they adapt to an ever-changing world.

We thank everyone who visited our booth in Madrid and look forward to seeing you next at IPM ESSEN from 27 to 30 January 2026.
