This September, Accreditation Body (AB) representatives gathered in London for the 2026 Agraya Accreditation Body Meeting. The annual meeting provides a dedicated forum for technical exchange and calibration between Agraya and the accreditation community.
Held in collaboration with IFS – International Featured Standards and BRCGS – Brand Reputation through Compliance Global Standards, the meeting brought together 30 participants representing 26 Accreditation Bodies. BRCGS hosted this year’s meeting in London.
Sharing technical updates and integrity insights
Accreditation bodies play an important role in the GLOBALG.A.P. system by accrediting certification bodies and overseeing their activities. Regular exchange helps strengthen alignment on requirements and supports consistent implementation across countries and sectors.
This year’s discussions covered key updates to GLOBALG.A.P. standards, ongoing standards developments, accreditation scopes and normative documents, and the implementation of evolving program requirements.
Our Integrity team also shared insights from the 2025 Integrity Report, including common findings identified through integrity activities. These findings provided a basis for discussion on recurring challenges and areas where closer alignment can strengthen oversight.
Maintaining confidence across the certification system
The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange perspectives on emerging challenges and the consistent interpretation and application of requirements across different regions.
With approved certification bodies operating internationally, close cooperation with Accreditation Bodies is an important part of maintaining consistency and confidence across the GLOBALG.A.P. certification system.
Regular dialogue with the accreditation community allows us to share technical developments, gather feedback, and address implementation challenges together. Maintaining these relationships will remain an important part of strengthening the integrity and consistent application of GLOBALG.A.P. certification worldwide.
