New GLOBALG.A.P. IT platform: CertifierOS and Supply Chain Portal now live

3 min read

As of 3 November 2025, the new GLOBALG.A.P. IT platform is live. Developed with our IT partner osapiens, the platform facilitates the worldwide implementation and verification of GLOBALG.A.P. certification solutions. It consists of two systems – CertifierOS and Supply Chain Portal – and links up with our existing Certification Body Administration Tool (CB-AT).

Streamlined CB operations in CertifierOS

CertifierOS is a digital hub for smarter audit reporting. With certified producers in over 130 countries, the needs of GLOBALG.A.P. approved certification bodies (CBs) can vary greatly. CertifierOS offers the flexibility to submit audit data directly in the web interface, offline via the osapiens mobile app, or to connect third-party audit management software via an API.

As of 3 November, CBs are able to use all core functionalities in CertifierOS, from managing producer data and conducting audits to issuing certificates. A dedicated feedback channel has also been established to capture input and suggestions for future developments.

Certification transparency through Supply Chain Portal

Supply Chain Portal is an information bank of producers with certified production processes around the world. It is used to check the validity of certificates via a GLOBALG.A.P. identification number, with information – based on agreed data access rules – available to CBs, retailers, traders, supply chain stakeholders, and the public for transparency in the market.

Hosting the certification data of almost 200,000 registered producers, Supply Chain Portal is one of the largest online sources for validated farm data with the goal of sharing responsible farming practices. Our Bookmarking service also allows users to easily view and monitor the certification status of suppliers in a single location.

Producer certification status can now be verified in Supply Chain Portal, with all data successfully migrated from the GLOBALG.A.P. database.

Supporting global stakeholders

The GLOBALG.A.P. IT platform launch is the culmination of months of training and exchange with stakeholders around the world. All applicable stakeholder groups have been informed of the changes and any required actions to support the transition process – from certification and accreditation bodies to producers, buyers, NTWGs, and benchmarked schemes.

Agraya CEO, Elmé Coetzer-Boersma, commented on the launch: “The new platform marks a significant milestone in the evolution of our IT services. This journey has taken time, persistence, and exhaustive efforts, and our dedicated teams have worked tirelessly with osapiens to craft a solution that is innovative and transparent. Most importantly, it further strengthens the robust integrity requirements that have always been at the heart of our certification system.”

Agraya thanks all stakeholders for their engagement, cooperation, and support during this transition.
