A dynamic start to 2026 events: Highlights from IPM and Fruit Logistica

3 min read

IPM and Fruit Logistica took place in close succession this year, marking a strong start to 2026 for GLOBALG.A.P. and the GGN label under the Agraya corporate umbrella. Both trade fairs offered valuable opportunities to connect with partners, strengthen relationships, and underline our priorities for the year ahead.

Celebrating sustainability on a global stage at IPM

As the world’s leading trade fair for horticulture, IPM brings together more than 1,400 organizations from over 40 countries and serves as a key platform for innovation in plants, sustainability, technology, and floristry.

The fair provided an opportunity to engage with stakeholders across the floriculture sector and reaffirm our commitment to responsible production.

We were also proud to sponsor the AIPH International Grower of the Year Awards in the Sustainability category. The award recognizes best practice and innovation in improving sustainability across areas such as water use, chemical use, climate action, energy efficiency, transportation, labor management, and social standards. It celebrates ornamental production nurseries that demonstrate measurable impact and industry leadership.

Highlighting the importance of the awards, Alison Jobic, Key Account Manager at Agraya, stated, “IPM offers a valuable opportunity to understand the commitment producers are making toward more sustainable practices. It reminds us that sustainability is not a trend or a constraint, but a shared responsibility, which is why we are proud to sponsor the IGOTY Sustainability Award again this year.”

At the heart of fresh produce innovation at Fruit Logistica

Fruit Logistica once again delivered a busy and energetic edition, with a steady stream of visitors at our booth throughout the three days. The strong interest reflected the sector’s focus on collaboration, transparency, and practical solutions.

We also introduced Wouter Conradie, recently appointed Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of Agraya. His appointment represents an important step forward for our organization and reinforces our commitment to strengthening commercial strategy and deepening engagement with partners across the supply chain.

Commenting on his new role, Conradie said, “My goal is to strengthen the global impact of Agraya, GLOBALG.A.P., and the GGN label by promoting credible, scalable, and future-ready assurance solutions that promote more responsible and resilient farming practices worldwide”.

Innovation and future-ready solutions were central to many of the conversations at our booth. This focus was reflected not only in discussions around digitalization and technology, but also in the presence of Ray the robot, a representation of how Agraya is thinking about interaction in the future. Another highlight of the trade fair was our community event, where we welcomed partners and new contacts for an informal get-together. Thank you to everyone who joined us. During the event, we announced that the AGRAYA SUMMIT 2026 tickets were on sale, marking the start of preparations for our next major industry gathering.
