Agraya is pleased to welcome Bonipak Produce as a new GLOBALG.A.P. Community Member. As a fully integrated, seed-to-sale farming operation with more than 90 years of experience, Bonipak is committed to promoting good agricultural practices.

A seed-to-sale approach rooted in quality

Founded in 1932 in California’s Santa Maria Valley, Bonipak Produce has grown from a family farming venture into a comprehensive agricultural operation supplying fresh vegetables across North America. With fields in California and Arizona, the company manages the entire production cycle, from crop planning and seed selection to harvesting, cooling, processing, and shipping.

Bonipak relies on GLOBALG.A.P. assurance programs as a core part of its agricultural production system. The company maintains Integrated Farm Assurance (IFA) certification across thousands of acres of vegetable production, reflecting its alignment with internationally recognized standards for food safety, traceability, environmental responsibility, and workers’ health, safety, and welfare.

The GLOBALG.A.P. third-party audit scheme also supports Bonipak’s commitment to continuous improvement and helps ensure that its practices meet both regulatory requirements and evolving industry expectations.

Supporting innovation in agriculture

Bonipak’s integrated model is central to maintaining consistent quality throughout the season. This allows Bonipak to work directly with customers, ensure consistent volumes, and maintain high standards for freshness and quality. Modern practices, including the use of GPS technology, drip irrigation, and a fully equipped soil laboratory, support efficient and responsible production throughout the year.

The company selects top-performing seed varieties, applies proven and modern agronomic practices, and operates solar-powered cooling and shipping facilities that help preserve freshness while reducing environmental impact. This seed-to-sale approach allows the company to meet customer needs reliably and sustainably.

Commenting on the new membership, Marianna Solorio, Director of Food Safety and Quality Assurance at Bonipak Produce, shared: “As a new member, Bonipak looks forward to actively participating in the GLOBALG.A.P. community. We are proud to join a network of producers, retailers, foodservice partners, and certifying bodies working together to advance safer, more sustainable, and socially responsible agriculture.”

We warmly welcome Bonipak Produce as the latest GLOBALG.A.P. Community Member!
